Company Profile: The Autonomous Systems Lab ASL at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) Zurich is an internationally renowned research lab in the field of autonomous robot design and navigation. It is part of the Mechanical and Process Engineering Department MAVT being the largest engineering department at ETHZ. Apart from systems design, major research is conducted in cognitive maps, feature based SLAM and path planning in higly dynamic environments. The Autonomous Systems Lab consists of around 40 researchers and application engineers and it is involved in various National, European and ESA projects.

Company Profile:  The main research activities of the Robotics Research Lab at the University of Kaiserslautern are focused on the realisation of complex autonomous robotic systems like wheel-driven indoor and outdoor vehicles as well as climbing robots.
